Although there can be no definitive answer to this question,
it should be in your interest to see what the range of pricing
you are likely to be dealing with is for your Web development.
Please note that this is a guide only
It covers the build of a Web site, not any third-party
services that may be required and are extra costs to the development
we specifically undertake. We will assemble a Quote for you
on any project which includes all elements that need to be
covered. |

BUSINESS "ADVERTISEMENT"
SITES or "Static" Websites
Typically these would range between $4-7K ex.GST
Average development times range from 3-5 weeks dependent on
actual requirements |

1: Incorporating Custom CMS's and/or Database backends
Range $7—10K+ ex.GST
Average development times range from 6-8 weeks dependent on

2: Ecommerce / Multimedia-based Content
Range $10K+ ex.GST
Average development times range from 8-12 weeks dependent

Secure Hosting for Ecommerce transactions, Secure Certificates,
Domain Name Services extra to the Website build, and a Custom
CMS (Content Mangement System) are typically part of this
type of Website, invloving Product & Inventory Management
in addition to Site Content Management. |

Additional Services which may be required and are not
part of standard development services |
Costs such
as Hosting, your Domain Name,
any Graphic Design or Templating work (if
not explicitly covered in the Brief you would receive from
us - see note about this further on), any purchases of Secure
Certificates, and Ecommerce-related Expenses
(eg. access to a Payment Gateway for Ecommerce Sites, or the
setup of a Merchant Account with your Bank) are all cost categories
that would be quoted separately into any complete Design Brief
for you. Further, any server-side plug-ins required for the
implementation of Multimedia-based services where not included
in existing Hosting frameworks (including but not limited
to enabling the ability to connect your site content with
mobile handsets via sms or similar, intensive video-based
content and similar applications) will be quoted for separately
to the design/build aspects of your website..
We have separated out the Graphic design element because some
Clients already have their own Designer and simply require
us to implement the integration work with a database backend
designed specifically for their Site. |
